This Dwarf-road was the road that led down into Beleriand from Nogrod and Belgost, created for the sake of trading between the Dwarves and Elves. It ran in a westerly direction alongside the River Ascar until is finally entered East Beleriand where it crossed the River Gelion at Sarn Athrad.
