The Laurinquë were trees, which were abundant in the Hyarrostar of Númenor. It had long clusters of yellow flowers that hung from its branches and it served no other purpose save in the beauty of its blooms.

Some believed that the Laurinquë had been born of the Golden Tree of Valinor, Laurelin, because of the golden colour of their flowers, and that the Eldar had brought seeds of it to Númenor, but that was not true.
