Affection by Ilfa
I lie into the deepest place in my heart,
deeply hurt from what happened from the past.
Remembering oneself to forget,
the fear of not loving again.
I faced the trials of a failure,
visited the darkest place you’ll ever endure.
As I walk, I fell, then cried,
then someone unknown lifted me up.
From the first time, I saw your face,
all I can think is this is a grace.
A sigh of relief as I felt the joy,
as if I’m a child with a precious toy.
A Gondorian Captain I have known,
my affection for him, now I want to tell.
As I want it to be shown,
coz’ I can’t go out in this spell.
Not so long we became friends,
and then time came it develops itself,
as our relationship bends
to the new level, which is love.

This is a pretty good poem. I just have one criticism. In some places the rhyme scheme is a little awkward and seems a little forced. Sometimes non-rhyming conveys a greater amount of emotion.
Ok, thanks for the observation!:) Cause I just made it as an impromptu poem.
