Chapter 3- Frodos secret

” I can’t believe you let your unconscious brother fall off of a horse!”The lord Elrond was issuing one of his famous lectures to his son ” It wouldn’t have hurt you to go find him a bed! now take him to the hospital wing now!” Elladan opened his mouth to retort but changed his mind when he saw Elronds eyes. He picked up his brothers limp body and stumbled towards the hospital wing.

Legolas watched in amusement. Gandalf cleared his throat to attract everyones attention.
” I am aware you have not seen each other for a while and would like to speak but” he pushed Frodo forward who was staring at his furry feet. ” there is something this hobbit must tell you.” His tone sharpened as he said the last of his sentence.

“Well…I..I suppose I didn’t quite destroy the Ring” There was a sharp intake of breath. “In..in Mt.Doom it wa..was hot enough to break the…the Ring.” Frodo took a deep breath “I broke it into three..one piece fell with go..go…gollum and one I kept with me, the oth..other rolled away somewhere.” He became interested in the ceiling decoration then and Gandalf spoke.
“I can only guess that Sauron’s apprentice has discovered the Ring piece and is using to control the orcs…”wait apprentice!?” Aragorn questioned
“Yes I am afraid, Sauron was Morgoth’s apprentice and I do know he had an apprentice incase the worst should happen. It is a female called Urbanth.
” A woman? How much can a woman do?”
“More than you could ever imagine my friend”
