I don’t know if I need a disclaimer but here is one any way I own nothing of Tolkien and this is but a tribute to his works.

Once you said
“Deep roots are not reached by the frost”
And so you for told your future
The roots of your works
That have delved deep into our modern minds
Have not been dusted by the frosts of time
Have not been frozen do the words are lifeless
They still bring Middle-Earth to life
“From the ashes a fire shall be woken”
Told also of what would come to pass
Though the people of Middle-Earth lay quite for many years
Just like the ring
Sitting on shelves in peoples houses
Still alive and thriving within
Then the spark jumped back to a burning blaze
As the once mental pictures came to life on a fifteen foot screen
And yet when all you unintentionally predicted came true
There is one thing that will never happen
“The crownless again shall be king”
Will never come into the present
For Middle-Earth is never crownless
And always king
