Annoying fly

Annoying fly of humble upbringing
Why do you hover above my kin?
a king of noblest birth.
Why old fly must you buzz ?
upon his blue lips While feasting on his blood
through damp eyes I watch your army assault his flesh
a wave of the hand unsettles you,
and off you fly to feats on some dishonoured uruk
to return moments later with fresh recruits.
Scissor feet help you feats deeply
I cradle his body from you teeth, but still you buzz upon him.

Dirty fly of rotten upbringing
Why should you despoil my kin?
His was noble, he a king
And yet with you land with beat of wing
To feast and gorge on him
Frantically waving hands dispel you
Yet still you land again on his flesh.
Oh buzzing fly why do you mask those wise eyes?
Will you not leave him to me?
Old fly can you not leave his kin to mourn him?
Why, why buzzing fly?

Why fly must you devour his flesh?
A black shroud to his soul
A predator when we move him to rest
Stalking mortality with hovering wings
Why fly must you feast on kin who die?
Could you not leave Rohan’s king to part?
A throbbing swarm of devouring pests
Annoying fly why can’t you die?
