Dr.Jones-Arwen and Aragorn
The beautiful elven princess sat at her vanity staring into her mirror. She longed for the man she loved, but by now her was leagues away. As she looked harder into the mirror her own face melted away before her eyes and the face of her beloved appeared.
“Sometimes, the feeling is right. You fall in love for the first time. Heartbeat, and kisses so sweet. Summertime love in the moonlight. Ah – yippie – yi – yu. Ah – yippie – yi – yeah. Ah – yippie – yi – yu – ah.” Arwen sang sweetly wishing her beloved was with her to share her music.
Meanwhile many miles a way a somewhat dirty looking ranger sat beneath a tree, sleeping as the breeze blew through his hair. He woke suddenly as the voice of the woman he loved suddenly came to his ears. Her song soothed him. “Now the summer is gone you had to go back home. Please come and see me again. I never felt more alone.” The voice rang softly in his ears.
“Baby, I am missing you.” Aragorn answered the voice. Hoping it would carry to Arwen’s ears.
“I want you by my side!” Arwen sang as her elf ears picked up Aragorn’s voice on the wind.
“And I hope you’ll miss me too!”
“Come back and stay!” Arwen cried!
“I think about you every day!” Aragorn fingered Evanstar.
“I really want you too!” Arwen ran to the window and stuck her neck out to see if her beloved was there. She looked down, but to her dismay she saw only Elrond giving her a strange look. Arwen broke out into tears. She could feel Aragorn…it seemed as if he was so close, but he was so far away. Probably on the other side of Middle Earth.
“You swept my feet right off the ground, you’re the love I found!” Aragorn could feel Arwen’s pain and it echoed in his heart. He cried out in anguish for Arwen. He needed her by his side now.
“Doctor Jones, Jones, Calling Doctor Jones! Doctor Jones, Doctor Jones, Get up now!” Arwen’s voice rang in defiance of her father. She called out to her beloved. Her heart ached for him.
“Wake up now!” Aragorn smacked his head against a tree. Arwen was not here. They were not meant to be. It was a fleeting dream that he needed to wake from.
“Doctor Jones, Jones, Calling Doctor Jones! Doctor Jones, Doctor Jones, Wake up now!” Arwen sang again, hoping that her only love would call back to her.
“Wake up now!” Aragorn hit his head again.
“Ah – yippie – yi – yu! Ah – yippie – yi – yeah! Ah – yippie – yi – yu – ah! Ah – yippie – yi – yu! Ah – yippie – yi – yeah! Ah – yippie – yi – yu – ah!” Arwen ran out into the garden and flung herself to the ground in a heap of sobs and gowns. A few minutes later she looked into the sky with an angry glint in her eyes, daring the forces that separated her from Aragorn to challenge her. “All I think of is you, and all of the things we had. Doctor, what can I do? Why does it have to be like that?” She spat out as Elrond walked by and gave her another queer look.
“Baby, I am missing you!” Aragorn whispered as if he were holding Arwen right now.
“I want you by my side!” Arwen sang when she noticed her father, who now had a very disturbed look on his face.
“And I hope you’ll miss me too!” Aragorn raged on. He had a very grumpy looking elf glaring at him and remembered that he should be quite so Legolas could get some beauty sleep.
“Come back and stay!” Arwen ran from her father. She was determined to marry Aragorn even if she had to rid herself of Elrond.
“I think about you every day!” Aragorn said as he wrapped his arms around air as if he were cradling Arwen to sleep, like in the older days.
“I really want you too!” Arwen had found the spot where she gave Aragorn Evanstar. She cried harder as his voice came to her carried by an eagle this time.
“You swept my feet right off the ground, you’re the love I found!”
“Doctor Jones, Jones, Calling Doctor Jones! Doctor Jones, Doctor Jones, Get up now!” Arwen called Aragorn to her. She had ways of making him come back..
“Wake up now!” Aragorn opened his eyes and saw Gimli standing over him. He thought his voice sounded different. The strong ranger had broken down into tears and was sobbing at the base of a tree in Fangorn forest.
“Ah – yippie – yi – yu! Ah – yippie – yi – yeah! Ah – yippie – yi – yu – ah! Ah – yippie – yi – yu! Ah – yippie – yi – yeah! Ah – yippie – yi – yu – ah! Please, please cure me! Please, please cure me! Please, please cure me! Please, please cure me!” Arwen sang. She called for the only medicine that could cure her broken heart: Aragorn. “Doctor Jones, Jones!”
“Wake up now!” Gimli shook Aragorn again, hoping he would come to his senses instead of whining like a baby.
“Doctor Jones, Jones!” Arwen sobbed.
“Wake up now!” Aragorn received a swift kick in his side from a very angry elf.
“Doctor Jones, Jones!” Arwen shouted as she poured her soul into the sky above sending it to Aragorn.
“Wake up now!” Legolas kicked Aragorn again. He was going to get his sleep one way or another, but the kick didn’t phase the ranger. Aragorn only cried harder for his beloved.
“Doctor Jones, Jones, wake up now!” Arwen willed Aragorn back in her arms. “Ah – yippie – yi – yu! Ah – yippie – yi – yeah! Ah – yippie – yi – yu – ah! Ah – yippie – yi – yu! Ah – yippie – yi – yeah! Ah – yippie – yi – yu – ah! Doctor Jones, Jones, Calling Doctor Jones! Doctor Jones, Doctor Jones, Get up now!”
“Wake up now!” Both Legolas and Gimli dragged Aragorn to his feet and attempted to pour the little wine they had left down his throat to sober Aragorn up.
“Doctor Jones, Jones, Calling Doctor Jones Doctor Jones, Doctor Jones, Wake up now!” She cried.
By this time Elrond had found his daughter, her screaming gave her position away. He shook his head at the state she was in. Humans really were bad, he thought. Elrond motioned to his two sons to come forward with the long white robe with ridiculously long sleeves. This robe was a protection robe for his daughter, but in common tongue it was known as a straight jacket.
“Wake up now!” Aragorn rasped as Gimli and Legolas gave up and left the ranger lying in the fetal position by the tree.
