A shadow falls and the day is darkened. A cold night calls and alone you shall be, for those with you are ones you want to flee from. Yet, no escape is near, no escape presents itself. Every door is locked and every window with bars. There is no escape for the one who is tormented and alone. Emotionless are her days and restless are her nights. She knows neither sorrow nor joy, just emptiness. Her once bright smile and eyes are now cold, hard, emotionless. She is like those who are dead, without feeling. But somewhere in the dark, a light is seen. Its brightness brings joy and happiness; something that was always a fake is now real. Hope is given and no longer will she suffer from loneliness. Bright again are her eyes and smile, joy again fills her steps. Let us hope it lasts the night.
