Primula was showing Frodo all the portraits in their rooms at Brandy Hall.They were of the residence or of other relations.As Primula walked along,she stopped at a portrait of Bilbo.
“Who is that?”asked Primula.
“Il-po!”said Frodo,clapping his hands.
Now,Frodo had seen Bilbo once-a month ago.
Primula felt mixed immotions on hearing his first word.
She corrected him:
“No.Bil-bo”
“Il-po”
“Bil-bo”
“Ilbo”
“Close”
“Bilbo?”
“Yes.Who are you?”
“Fo-do?”
“Close”
“Frodo?”
“Yes.”

“I says he’s a performing monkey,Primie!”joked Drogo,playing along with the game set by Primula.
On hearing Frodo’s first word,Drogo’s shock was real.
Later,when Drogo would tell this to Bilbo,Bilbo only smiled.
