Flower of Memory by Almost_Irish
Simbelmynë
A golden orb encircled by a ring of white.
The sun encompassed by white clouds.
Stemming from the earth moistened by tears,
A small shard of hope and memory,
Love and tears,
A monument to courage.
Whatever it may hold for one,
It still remains the same
Growing on the tombs of forefathers
And keeping the recollections alive
Of times and ages long past.

Wonderful!
Usually I don’t like poetry that doesn’t rhyme but this is an exeption.
Beautifully written.
