Galadriel’s Song

Long has it been
Since I have walked again
Amongst the mallorn trees
In the warm midsummer’s breeze

I can hear them whisper
To me and call me thither
But I can only sing of their lore
For I cannot leave these white shores

Since completed was Ring Bearer’s quest
We took the ship into the West
With Elrond, Gandalf and Celeborn
While Hamfast’s son was still torn

But his time shall come at last
When his flower’s life has past
Then reunited we shall be
To gaze upon the sparkling sea
