He never will by sweetlittleelf
Will he love me?
She says,
On the night of it all,
No,
She tells herself,
He never will.
Then the sun wont rise,
The night won’t fall,
I won’t let it,
There’s no life at all.
Calm down,
Someone whispers,
you’ll be just fine,
you’ve seen harder times.
And to this day,
She wishes,
She hopes,
But soon someone comes,
He loves her too,
She’s happy again.
It’s time for her life to start once more.

Sometimes poems that appear to be simple can really be complex and beautiful in their simplicity. Beautifully styled and written. One tip, but I am by no means professional: avoid the word “okay.” It sounds too colloquial for a poem of such elevated feeling, style, and language. But still, this poem is wonderful.
