Far across the glistening sea
There the land awaits for me
My Heart cannot rest in tree or shade
In sparkling dell, in flowery glade
For where my heart dwells for evermore
Is in the land of Valinor
Far away the bright sun sets
Into the far-off magnificent West
My heart desires to follow its path
Till all my fears and this land will pass
For my heart dwells for evermore
In the land of Valinor
Far beneath the shinning sun
The race is over, my journey run
I hear a voice calling me
From across the shore, from across the sea
And my heart will dwell for evermore
In the land of Valinor

That’s really awesome! The flow of poem is really good and you can see that you didn’t stuff around trying to get the rhyming right (like I do!).
The only slightly bad thing is (Your going to kill me for this) but the “magnificent” in verse 2 I think interrupts the flow a bit.
Anyway, I’ll probably submit some of my stuff in the hols.
