The Valars decided to go to the East,
to fight against Melkor, the beast.
Evil Manwë’s brother was defeated,
taken away, his crown became a chain,
but all the effort was in vain
because the seed of evil was there.
Middle Earth was still covered with pain,
never recovered of evil again.
