POWER OF DARKNESS
Can the Living get lost
In a world of Death?
Can Fire inflame Light
In a world of Darkness?
Can a good soul
Keep up the struggle
Of Death vs. Life
Of Good vs. Evil?
Can Beauty not diminish
Can a star still shine?
And smote the heart of the hopeless
And give Life to the Dying?
Can not a World be ended
When exposed to Shadow?
For do not Shadows engulf all
That are within their Power?
And are not we all weak
Are not our Wills and Faiths frail?
And of Darkness do not we take
When Power is for sale?

Okay, I read. Not bad. Short and succinct. I was thrown just a bit by the last stanza. It rhymes, but the rest does not. But other than that, a nice piece.
Very cool. I like poems with a darker side.
