Once a Hobbit-like creature, a Stoor,
Smeagol went fishing,
He caught fish, but found something more.

He accquired a beautiful gold ring,
He held it in his hands, the sun gleaming.
For he had found such a pecuilar thing,
Smeagol sat there smiling and beaming.

He escaped to the mountains,
Eating only fish,
The ring served as a youth fountain.

Over his ring he had much glee and gloat,
And from the gurgling in his throat,
He became known as Gollum.
