The Breeching of the Wall

My people, cried an old and weary king,
You are now safe inside Helm’s Deep.
The cries of the Rohan began to ring,
For no foe had stepped foot inside the Keep.

Like a swarm of bees the Uruk-Hai came,
With orders form the terrible White Hand;
To destroy everyone form strong to lame,
And secure for him this sacred horse land.

With swords and arrows they fought with their foe,
While being pelted by the harsh rain.
The battle raged on from high points to low,
But to their dismay it was all in vain;

For from the blinding dark they heard a call,
May Valar help us, they have breeched the wall.
