The Dragon by Firniswin
In the days of old,
I am told of a dragon in a hill.
She lives by firelight,
And eats by the twilight.
Her name is Melethen,
She is the best in flying.
She soars up high,
in the big blue sky till dawn arises the next day.
She is a goldish red,
It is said that she is the daughter of Smaug.
Because of her eyes,
She takes you by suprise,
and when she does you are as good as dead.
