Optimistic
Cautious, and careful
Always looking before he leaps
Frodo’s companion
Gollum’s enemy.

Pippin:
Always looks on the bright side
Doesn’t know when to stop and think, though
Has a cheery personality
Merry’s best friend
Always hungry
Tries to be helpful
Can’t figure out this
Big world.

Merry:
Carrot-boy
Bright, but doesn’t know
How to get out of trouble.
Loves apples, as he’s
Always eating them.
Never knowing
What is coming
He must face the world of the unexpected.
