Rather short but I wanted to get it up. Please read and Review. also please take a look at my poem “Aragorn’s Poem” and review that, too. Enjoy!
I don’t own LotR or its characters and settings, darn, I just own this lovley conversation. It is officially disclaimed.

It was a beautiful day as Frodo, the Ringbearer; Sam, his faithful gardener; Peregrin Took, a guard of Citadel of Minas Tirith; and Meriadoc Brandybuck, Holdwine of Rohan and Esquire of Theoden King; all Hobbits of the Shire, were returning home from Rivendell after the crowning of the King and the marriage of Elfstone and Evenstar, Aragorn and Arwen.
They were riding on four glistening white ponies and dressed in finery worthy of the King Elessar. Frodo was wearing a wine-red velvet cape. He turned to Sam, who was wearing a brown-burgundy velvet cape, and said “I wonder what people will think of us. I mean, will they welcome us or will they ignore us or will they be mean to us? And what happened while we were away?
“Why are you so nervous? Everything is going to be fine.” Sam asked worriedly.
Frodo said, with his voice cracking, “I know I never told you, but when we were in Lorien, while everyone was asleep, Lady Galadriel showed me her mirror. It can show you the past, present or future. And it showed me the Shire in ruins and Hobbits enslaved.”
Just then, they came to a small but friendly group of Hobbit children, who greeted them warmly. Sam was resisting the urge to say, “I told you so.”

Possibly TBC…

A/N what did you think? good? bad? tell me and I will work on it.
