I was re-reading all the lessons and during lesson one, for the diphthong "ui" the example is ruin, but in ruin you pronounce the u and I seperately, and according to the definition, a diphthong is a comination of consecutive vowels that makes ONE SOUND. could sombody give me another example? Is it anything like the french "oui?" Thanks bunches

I don't think English has that sound, but the one that comes close is the 'uoy' of 'buoy'.

Some other examples from other languages:
Latin: hui
Dutch: foei
French: grenouille
Spanish: muy
Yassë engë lómë, anarties calali.
