hiya! i just have a quick question.

i know this elvish phrase:

u chebin i-estem anim

(i'm not quite sure if the hypens are correct)
it is spoken in the movies when elrond sees aragorn (when Rohan is regrouping before minis tirith)

how do you pronounce it?

help is much appreaciated

Actually, it is ú-chebin estel anim. And, as you point out, it is spoken in the movie by Viggo so you could also hear it pronounced there.

In addition to being spoken in the movie, it is also subtitled in English. But anyway, the whole thing is:

Onen i-Estel Edain, ú-chebin estel anim.

Which Tolkien translated as follows:

'I gave Hope to the Dúnedain, I have kept no hope for myself.
