Post Translation please!!!

I would be eternally grateful to anyone who could possibly translate this quote into Sindarin for me:

"All who wander are not lost"

I want to get a tattoo (I know, how original ) of that phrase in Elvish, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

Have you tried searching the forum? That should turn up a few results. In any case, try the thread 'Who here could translate this for me?', or Derdzinski's translation.

Thank you so much Firiel! Those links really helped a lot!! Now I'm just wondering...does anyone know the Sindarin word for believe? It would be awesome if you could tell me. I'm really sorry if I'm being annoying here.

No, you're not. I like challenges (well, most of the time ), for 'believe' is a word that doesn't really exist in Sindarin. Depending on what you need 'believe' for, and the context in which it's being used, phrasing it as something like 'I have faith in...' (Gerin vronwe vi...?) might be better. I'm not aware of any Neo-Sindarin verbs, sorry.

thank you! You know, I never thought of using "faith" as a substitute for "believe". I'm such a moron sometimes lol :banghead: and the sentence you gave me is perfect! You've been such a big help! Thank you so much!

Just an idea... could - in the right 'context' nautha- (concieve) be an option?

One possibility:

Losto vi sîdh.

Sleep in peace.
