Post Doublecheck my Sindarin please? Real short.. :)

I'm trying to get the best way of saying "(female) elven harper"
I think it'd be "talagant elleth" ... though I've never been good with the mutation stuff, and I'm not sure my grammar is right.

And would "talagant edhellen" be better? I'm not sure of the usage difference of "elleth" vs "edhil/edhellen" in this case.

Thank you!

I believe that talagand (with _d_) can be applied to male and female harpers.
For "Elven/Elvish" you would want an adjective, so I would suggest Edhellen

Err... how about a space between 'harper' & 'elf'? Compounds are useful and all, but it's a bit uncomfortable having a six-syllable word. Also, if you do want to say 'female Elvish harper', you need a separate adjective for 'female': talagand edhellen (ar) inu.

Otherwise it might be convenient to simply write elleth gannol or elleth gannadol "harp playing Elf-woman" ( or lenited: elleth ngannol , elleth ngannadol).
