Turin, after the death of Saeros;
'I did not will it, but I will not mourn it, ' said Turin. 'May Mandos judge him justly; and if he ever return to the lands of the living, may he prover wiser. Farewell!'


Perhaps it is not a great epitath, but does it indicate that other elves had returned from the halls of Mandos and that Turin was aware of this?


Could this also mean that this incident could be viewed by Turin as a relatively minor crime as the Elf isn't really gone, and Turin didn't really kill him anyway as he jumped by his own choice ?
