Post Check this out - Coucil of Elrond Frappr!

hey i created a Frappr! group for the Council of Elrond... it's basically a map that shows where everyone lives. all you do is click "add yourself" and enter your info... i think it works for UK too.

I'd like to add myself, but I keep on coming up with Invalid errors -- possibly Frappr doesn't support Australian locations?

I did like looking at the piccies though.

Oh man, that bites, Firiel. Hmmm... They have the UK and the Netherlands so it seems rather strange they don't have Australia. :twitch: Maybe a glitch in their software? We have more than one member from Down Under, so maybe we should ask their tech support if there's some sort of special code Australia has.

Yay! I take it back, it does recognise Aussie cities! It doesn't seem to work well with Firefox though, and you have to choose the city from a list, it seems, not type it in first -- it worked when I switched to IE.

Glad you like my sailor pic, Belle. That's me alright, Swabby the sailor. I was onboard the aircraft carrier USS Ranger (CV61) and we were in the Gulf of Tonkin (Vietnam). The year was 1972. I've aged A bit. I've still got the beard, but it's nearly solid white now and my waist has expanded quite A bit.
I presume that to be A picture of you, too, Belle, but probably taken A couple of years ago. Am I right? Swabby

LOL... Yep, you could say that, swabby. That was about 1980, before my hubby and I got married. It was before I shipped off to Bermuda for two years. That was when I decided he was the one for me. If I let my hair go now, I would be almost completely white with only a center streak of dark hair at my widow's peak. It's genetic. My maternal grandmother had it too, but the premature white began at 21, a gift from my Father.

I, too, have expanded a bit. My girlish hips and waist are a bit more plush now. 1972... I had just graduated from Hospital Corps School and landed in San Diego for my first tour of duty. Taking care of the guys that came back and the dependents they left behind. Wow... What memories!

This frapper this is really neat!

I've added myself too, lol, I guess Holland is full now, Especially Zuid-Holland, all the tags are palced over each other. By the way, the frappr says I live in Rotterdam, but I live in Hellevoetsluis. Of course it didn't recognise that so I had to chose a bigger city nearby

Hmm well, on the internet i get annoyed when my exact location is pinpointed, so when i entered my name and stuff and saw the result....i deleted my account off there, but under the shoutouts i had posted a little comment. Looking back on it now, that shoutout posts where i live and the zip code. I use this name (Burzlondewen) on other sites and stuff...and so i want to delete that shoutout, but i cant because i deleted my account. Does anyone know how to delete it?
