Post Help with typing in an Elvish font
on: October 26, 2007 08:25
I am working on a LOTR site called "Light of the Evenstar" and I wanted to translate the title into Quenya. I also would like to know how to type it in an elvish font. Can anyone do this for me? I would really appreciate it. THANKS!!

For the title of the site, I'd suggest "Cala Undómiello".

If you want to type in Tengwar, there's software that helps you with it, e.g. YATT, or, if you use MS Word, there's a neat macro at Dan Smith's site (where you can also dowload the fonts you need).

You may also find it helpful to use a guide, such as e.g. this one by Per Lindberg. There's also a short guide here on CoE, written by Mirimë (PDF).

Eep - I suggested the _Sindarin_ equivalent in your other thread.
