its a group that does reenactments of medieval battles, if you go on youtube you can see some battle footage and if you google the sca it will show you their website.

Yep. There is an active group here in the PoG. My husband works with a man who participates along with his wife.

I am guessing that you are in SCA? I am not, although I do fence foil. Fun fact: My fencing coach sells equipment for SCA.
