I'm going to be working on the site off and on over the coming months. This is the thread where I will announce any changes (many of them taken from the Suggestions Thread). If you notice any issues with any of these changes, please let me know in this thread.

Today's Update:

- you may now make comments on characters in the RPG Character database

- you now have a "quick reply" form at the bottom of each thread here in the forum.

I too find the quick reply adition quite useful... the only thing I'd tentatively pick on would be its colour, the brightness kind of hurts my eyes everytime I scroll down :blush: I've grown quite attached to the calming colours of CoE backgrounds

I to would love to put my bit in for comic comments. I don't know about others, but i myself love to have feedback on my artwork

Definitely an improvement in the reply box. Fits in with the thread and not so glaring in color.

I think that comments on the rest of the humor section would be great, like for the parodies,picture and written.

Comments capability has been added to all the Humor sections, where suitable.

If you have any other suggestions for areas of the site that could be improved by having comments added, let me know.

I like the Quick Reply too, but is it possible to have a Preview option with it? I find most of my typos in Preview.

And while I'm dreaming ()...

It would be cool to get comments on our Multimedia work,. It would also be great to see how many times an e-card has been used, like the download count on Wallpapers. And be able to search for all my downloads like I can with my ecards. Especially if they have comments.

I'm wondering if it's possible to somehow adjust what actually shows as the "last post" on the board index page. Right now, when someone posts below the three RPG forums, it is indicated on the board index page as the last post. However, unless someone opens a new thread in the 3 RPG forums, the actual last post is not indicated in the board index.

As the three forums are the ones most active, would it be possible to show the last post in any thread there, rather than just limiting it to the threads below the forums or a new thread in one of the forums?

I know it's been that way forever, bereth - subforum posts (unliess it is a brand new thread) have never shown as the 'last post' for a main forum.

Have added a few small changes:

- minor adjustments to the main menu in the Languages and Links areas.

- preview post is now available on quick reply

- when you post to a thread, it should now forward you to the last page in the thread (let me know if you see any issues with it, as it may not be perfect yet).

Is it possible to get a *Preview Post* when Editing a post?

It's great that after posting it goes to the last page of the thread, since some coding doesn't look exactly the same in the Preview as it does in the Post and it's one more chance to be sure it works.

Also, it's great that the smilies show up on the Preview page from the Quick Post! Thank you!

Unfortunately, not easily; editing is different from a reply, so I'd have to recode some of that stuff. I'll add it to the list, and I may get to it eventually. I'm sticking to fast and easy stuff right now

Holy jeepers this is amazing.

But totally makes my recent discovery of the "go to last page" button a whole lot less exciting.
