I saw this quote the first day that it was posted and I couldn't think of anything interesting to say about it...and really I still can't...

Without you even saying so I know that this was Éomer speaking because that is how he was (and really all of the Rohirrim)...to the point, no nonsense, truthful, fiercely loyal, respectful, etcetera.

I think it's very significant that he says that the Men of the Mark are not easily deceived - thinking of future chapters and all that.

But it's truly Éomer, I agree, Nienna.
