I reallt started to like Boromir, and what happens? He dies…
I’m in grief. Sean Bean was my greatest pleasure in the movie

Let me remind you all that he’s not dead
He coulden’t have died, he’s too smart
1) Boromir would NEVER Have forgotten his shield
2) Even if Uruk-Hai bows have a 300lb pull on them theres just too many layers
3) at the angle Lurtz was standing the arrows never would have hit him dead on,
and if Lurtz was standing in front of Boromir, he would have noticed and rolled, blocked the arrows
with another Uruk, used an orc’s shield, jumped behind a tree or any # of other escapes
Anyhoo, when it’s published, you can all read my revised two towers book, and see what would have happend
had Peter Jackson not killed him.
and as if that doesn’t cover everything:Boromir should have been healed by Aragorn!
I mean c’mon! Faramir,Eowyn, Merry, Frodo, Sam all healed by Aragorn! And Gandalf
Returned from the dead!… Hey is that a petition I hear forming?

Yes, I was disappointed when I read that Tolkien only killed off Borie, and Gandalf doesn’t count cause he cam
e back. Actually, someone did write a fanfic where Borie didn’t die. The waffle of gondor did! it’s good too

Even Aragorn needs toold for healing which he didn’t have. And Boromir had arrows, not poison or disease.
Besides, in the book he dies for giving in for temptation. Movie really followed the books. Sad but true.
Despite the temptation Boromir is actually likeable character once you figure out all the reasons.
