why legolas has to put his hat on??
I think it’s because of his hair – too fair, it may be shine in the dark

but i saw a parody where he was trying to hide his roots… sorta messes up the pic
I think he’s using the cloak from Lothlorien to “hide” from Sauron’s eye. Remember in the movie, the cloaks
conceal the wearer from the eyes of the enemy. He sees Sauron, but the cloak keeps Sauron from seeing him.

Actually Ninquelas, I remember reading somewhere about the hood being used because the lighting during filming
didn’t seem right. This was actually filmed during the day time after all.
