I think that they are saying goodbye….she can’t go to the west

I think its Elrohir here, but as they are twins, perhaps its Elladan, but they don’t look like elf threads to

I believe it’s Elrond who’s hiding the blond elf. Must be parting. Legolas? Perhaps. Friends, nothing more.

This is a way of greeting or saying farewell. It’s a cut scene from when the FOTR leaves Rivendell.
Arwen is thinking:Wow! He’s close enough to reach out and touch!

I think this was a scene that was deleted out of even the extended edition of FotR…
In the voice over commentary, Liv ameks reference to the ‘split personality’ of Arwen…
This was the more sensitive version of her before they changed her and made her emotionally stronger…
