it takes a big man to cry, a bigger man to laugh at that big man and an even bigger man to ask why
I think that’s Elrond’s hand…..
so it’s his mothers grave and the statue looks like mary. does that mean that he’s like a savior of men?
And the statue is of Gilraen, his mom

Gilraen took Aragorn to Rivendell after Arathorn died… Elrond was kin.. a whole bunch of times removed…
I think that this whole scene is really beautiful! They should’ve left it in the movie!
A: “Please don’t let that hand on my shoulder belong to Elrond…He still thinks he’s Agent Smith..”……….
E: “Mr. Aragorn….” A: “Oh, Lord, help me…”
Aragorn must be Catholic. “Hail Mary, full of grace…”
that is NOT Mary! It’s Gilraen… who was his mother. as has been said!
I’m Catholic, so the first thing I thought when I saw the statue was,”that looks like Mary.”
pity they cut this scene

This one gets me every time. It’s so touching.
This is my favourite scene out of all the movies. Beautiful and touching. 🙂
