I think this was in a cut scene from TTT.. when Faramir is talking to Frodo and Sam.

i think it is Denethor, who’s giving it to pippin….couse Faramir never got the horn….just Denethor

In FOTR, when Boromir is fighting the Uruks, you will notice toward the end of the scene,
I think when he is hit with the third arrow – his horn is cloven – the movie does not show *how* it happened.
It is certainly Denethor.
but wait a minute!it looks like the person who’s holding it wears a west…a dirty west…

I do believe this is a cut scene from TTT where Faramir says something about it.
We’ve all read the book, but since the movies have been altered, you can’t always go by what the books say LA
Clothing is too rich to be Faramir. My vote goes for Denethor…
In the book Denethor is holding the horn of Gondor that belonged to his son.
It might be Denethor holding it and showing it to Gandalf and Pippen…how could it be TTT when this is the
ROTK pictures?!
My vote is for denethor. Note the abscence of Vambraces of Gondor. Although, he does take them off… hm…

It’s not Pippin – wearing boots! Think it’s Denethor just before goes mad.
It is Faramir. In the book it is said that Faramir finds the cloven horn.
If you remember in TT, That is what Faramir was wearing while talking to Frodo and Sam.
If anyone doesn’t know, the way Faramir found out about Boromir’s death is:
He dreamed he saw a boat with Boromir’s body in it floating downstream

I haven’t read the other comments, but I think it’s Denethor holding up the halves of Boromir’s horn
This is Denethor, look at the hands, thise are old hands. And in the book Faramir didn’t find a horn, others
find it. I think that Denethor shows the horn to Pippin and Gandalf
I think it is Faramir in TTT ev. He’s wearing Faramir’s clothes, sitting on a rock in a cave, and seeing how
much they changed his character inthe movie,I wouldn’t be surprised if they had him find the horn,not Denethor

don’t look like a cave, that could be a cheir or pisture in the room.

That is a cave, that is FARAMIR’S shirt, anyone’s hands can look old if they’re dirty, so that is FARAMIR!

I’ve watched TTT EE enough to know it’s Faramir.And Denethor doesn’t wear clothes like that.

The person holding it is Faramir. He holds the cloven horn in the cave of Henneth Annun while having a
flashback moment where he remembers the victory at Osgiliath and Boromir going away.
Since it’s broken, I think it’s Denethor…I cry every time I watch the scene of Boromir’s death.
