The scene would have looked a lot better if she hadn’t been flailing around uselessly with the sword.
But other than that, it was so beautiful. Sword must have just been a bit too heavy. So determined!

Notice the helmet he has, this is more WiKi got his infamously intimidating mask.
They refilmed this scene several times because PJ thought the wiki’s helmet looked too much like Sauron’s.
this is obviously from an ealrier version. And I agree, the book’s version was much more powerful.

yeah, she was a lot more intence, desperate, and in pain during hte first shoot with the origion al helmet.
I also, like too, that during the reshoot of theoden’s death scene, she didn’t cry until he couldn’t see.
it’s in keeping with her charactor a bit more, i think. in the first shoot, she was real teary, and t was ask-
ing for eomer. that, that, was 9or would have been0 really, really unfair to Eowyn.
What an intense picture, I love her expression and her sword.
