She is stunningly beautiful. Though the picture, itself, looks a bit “painted”. 🙂
I’m glad they put Galadriel in the departure to the Grey Havens because they didn’t show the wedding of Arwen
and Aragorn in which she attended.
Yes this picture does seem to look like its painted
She’s so pretty! Every time I look at an Arwen pic, I think she’s the prettiest. Then, I look at a Galadriel
pic and think SHE’S the prettiest. I guess, like Gimli said, Galadriel’s like the morning and Arwen’s like
the evening– you just can’t compare them!
*does happy-dance for beautifull high-res pic*
I love the background: on one side, the sun above the sea; on the other side, the shade of the Grey Havens. It
seems to represent Galadriel’s choice, if you understand me.
cool thought, Eru Melin . . . gotta admit though that it’s nice of the Valar to let her back into the Undying
Lands after she was banned.
Wow, does she EVER take a bad picture? Another beautiful, mysterious pic with her lovely headpiece and
teasing smile…
This scene is my favourite one of Galadriel.
I’ve printed this pic and am going to put it in my room. But it’s smaller and doesn’t look painted.
She wasn’t really guilty to the events that lead to the ban, but she still went with those who were.
She went with the group because of the family ties, elves that needed to be lead and protected.
It’s rather complicated, but it’s all in Silmarillion.
