doesn’t look like she’s studying carefully, looks like she’s DROPPING HER BOOK.
lol 😀 did anyone notice when she dropped it it was on a differnet page to the one when she was holding it??
i noticed…it was the pic of the balrog then turned into writing when elrond looked at it…BIG MISTAKE!!!!
Not really. It could’ve, and probably would land on a different page. It landing on the -same- page would be
less believable.
This whole scene makes me cry. Especially when Elrond says the strength of Eldar is leaving her and her line..

Yeah… Because she either stays behind to be with Aragorn, or will die of a broken heart. So sad. But pretty!
That scene was very nice (although it wasn’t in the book). Liked that Elrond got more space. Healers rock.

i don’t know why, but her dropping her book is one of the saddest things in the whole movie to me.
I agree with lhunen. I’m not sure why Arwen dropping her book makes me so sad, but maybe it’s because after..
…Elrond picks upthe book, he finds out that Arwen is NOT going to the Grey Havens…It must hurt to loose…
…your only daughter foreve. Celebrian must get a nasty shock when Elrond gets to the Havens without Arwen.
I had the same thought about Celebrian, but I wish there was more about the book. Give me more Elvish!!
