I felt so sorry for Éowyn the moment she understood the deal
I felt sorry for her, but inside i was grumbling “well it’s about time.”
My thinking was, “better Aragorn tell her then Arwen tell her at the point of a blade”
I felt very badly for her, but I too was glad that Aragorn told her, it proved that he had it perfectly figure
out in his own mind and that he could let her down gently. Still you had to feel very sorry for her.

I liked this scene, you can clearly see that Aragorn’s kinda fed up with trying to be nice
poor eowyn…i felt like crying wen i watched dis bit..of course i felt like crying many times in d movie..
that was probably the nicest break up line you can get. If guys broke up like that it would be very nice.

I was a little sad about this but I think Aragorn did the right thing by telling her personally.
I also agree with Specter about it’s better telling her this way then Arwen telling her

Well, I don’t think Aragorn was trying to be nice when he was holding her at Helm’s Deep! Nor when he was
caressing her hand when taking the cup from her… and in the EE he actually touches her face (AND her lips)
after saying the “s. & a t.” line… For me it’s not “being fed up w. trying to be nice…”
Although I don’t like her interfering with A/A, I do feel sorry for her, but Aragorn only let her down gently.

Arwen’s strong where it counts-she’s patient, wise, compassionate, and perceptive. She’s comfortable with who
she is, and doesn’t have to take up a sword to prove it.
