They’re the cutests orcs I’ve ever seen
I’m pretty sure they leave the orc armor in Mordor and why on earth would they be wearing it while being
declared Heroes of the West? That would seem just too bizarre. More likely its when Sam first rescues Frodo.
and also, you know they have to leave it behind cuz when you see sam in mt doom in the trailer, he’s wearing
his old clothes
I have to agree with Roheryn,this is probably after war. And this is probably in Ithilien, and I’m glad that
Peter put that in film. I agree with Beleg S not Roheryn.This is like in book and I can’t wait to see a movie.
In the book they discard their orc gear before they climb Mount Doom, they do not wear it out of Mordor.
see ROTK page 916 where they discarded the Orc armour. Page 931 Gandalf gives them their old dirty clothes to
put on when Sam asks what they will wear now… then they are taken out of their tent and hailed as the Heroes
when I said ‘when Sam first rescues Frodo’ I meant in the tower.

having been beaten by the Orcs in Cirith Ungol.
is frodo wearing his old clothes beneath it? look at the neck line
I guess PJ left him some of his own clothes and the orcs just take his cloak, mithril shirt and Sam’s sword.

i forget — how do they get the mithril shirt and cloak back? doesn’t gandalf pick them up, somehow?
The Mouth of Sauron brings them to the Black Gate and Gandalf takes them from him.

Yes, Orchrist, Frodo does discard the armour. He’s become so weak it was wearing him down even more so.

This couldn’t be before Mt. Doom. Remember in Mordor there isn’t any trees and if you look closer there’s
trees behind them. They look ok and i realy think this is after Mt. Doom. In book Gandalf says that they’ll
wear cloths that they wear in Mordor. And I always wonder was that orcs cloths, because I doubt that Frodo
naked to Mt. Doom. And on the end of trailer when Sam yels No look around his neck, I think he has orc armour

sorry but I disagree. Look at the picture ‘Frodo and Sam struggle in Mordor’, Sam is not wearing Orc clothes
any longer. In the trailer photo you speak of look at Sam’s collar – it’s his regular shirt collar.
