They look very pained about something
This is lovely … it captures both their love and their pain at their parting.
now, is Andreth an OC? or is she some character that i have overlooked? this is important for me to know
because the history of one of my OCs concerns Aegnor.
Well, Tolkien wrote a story about a mortal wise-woman named Andreth, who fell in love with Aegnor, and
Aegnor loved her in return. However, this was during a time of war, so he didn’t marry her. And then he was
killed in the Dagor Bragollach. 🙁 The story is “Athrabeth Finrod Ah Andreth” in the twelfth volume of the
Histories of the Middle-earth… OOPS! I mean the tenth! *rolls eyes at self* The volume is called “Morgoth’s
Ring”. 🙂 I hope that explains it!
(P.S. “
>Athrabeth Finrod Ah Andreth” means “the Debate of Finrod and Andreth”.
Interesting…thank you, Eru.
Lovely work, I love the colours. Well done Maria!;)
