ooohhh very long hair!! But her feet position tells me she doesn´t know how to sit gracefully…
very roman
lol Eleni!!! I do like this pic, though she looks a bit masculine
Looks more Galadriel-ish to me.
that’s cause she seems to have blonde hair… I wonder, Arwen did have dark hair no?
Yeah, the hair needs to look darker, and her nose doesn’t seem to match the rest of her face.
Hmm, nice interpretation. However, Arwen isn’t supposed to glow, I don’t think. She never saw Valinor.
Actualy I think she is soposed to glow. I she looks like Luthien, wich they say she does.
Luthiens mother was Melian the Mia.
sorry to disagree, not Roman, very CELTIC…. she does look more like Galadriel, but I like this picture
I have this picture in a LOTR journal..”A Hobbits Journal” i got it b4 i became a fan of LOTR
no she was not supposed to glow. yes she does have dark hair. and it’s actually spelled maia.
Although your picture doesn’t look anything like Arwen it is very lovely.Especially what she is sitting on.
looks to me like Arien, keeper of the flower of Telperion from the Silmarillion…could just be the flower….
arien was keeper of laurenlin- but i get the gist- anyway, very beautiful, though arwen had DARK hair.
sorry *laurelin*
From an artist’s perspective, I’m glad you didn’t color in the hair. That is rather, hmm, third grade.
I do like the hinting at the texture. Rahter Di Vinci. Your hands are magnificnet, and anyone who is that
picky about noses, is probably picking one. A nice composition over all.
That is a very beautiful picture. As one artist to another I adore your composition and I believe that it is..
just the way she is sitting is why she looks different. I know it’s so hard to do feet and yours are amazing.
Ok last post I swear but I had to comment on the beauty of the headdress and the very Celtic feel. I love it..
(ok I lied) that you didn’t color in the hair also. There are shading techniques to make the hair look darker
But coloring in is very childish. All in all..very great job! (sorry about all the posts!)
she almost looks ancient middle eastern… like persian or babylonian
I agree 100 % with Celtic Ringspell
I love it, especially the look on her face.
