   the light in this one is strange.. and the perspective (kings head compared to body) looks strange.. 🙁

   looks like that hobbit (which I assume it´s frodo) is praying or crying

   it’s not the King’s head, k, the head is with Frodo and Sam… the *head* on the statute is the stone pin on

   which the craftsman placed the real head (because it was most likely impossible to sculpt in one piece)

   yeah i know… but if you look at the kings head with frodo and sam the perspective is still strange… IMO

    I always loved this part in the book. I like the idea of the flowers making a crown on the king’s head.

    This is rather cool with a lovely setting. Took me a minute to spot Gollum, but I like artwork to do that.

    It seems that Gollum is doing an Ozzy Osbourne (at the Alamo).
