The expression on Bilbo’s face looks so peaceful, I thought he was supposed to be a little afraid. It also kin
da looks like he’s doing a photo shoot. 🙂
He looks like a little kid!!! Hee 😉
Don’t fall!!!!
he may look peaceful because he’s feeling the breeze or seeing the butterflies
A GREAT picture as usual! :D:D:D:D:D
this discription of this event seems somewhat bland,
in the book it is supposed to be absolutely beautiful!
what a pose! he looks like a supermodel
i like the leaves they look real.
Well, Scottpledger, after being in a dark, gloomy forest for several days, this is kinda beautiful.

Why do all of Lee’s faces look like midevil tapestries?
He’s in a tree ‘cuase he was the lookout for the Dwarves in the Hobbit while they were in Mirkwood.
in all of Alan Lee’s paintings, Bilbo always looks really, really skinny, and young, besides that its good
lyrae archeress: Erm, because that’s his style and right to make it look as such?
