And why does the animal the nazgul rides look dead? And where’s Mery again? People keep forgetting him…
And Thoden’s hors was killed near him? I know the horse was very close too… but where is it?
It’s good…but Merry was crucial
“Don’t let us be hasty, that is my motto” Merry is there (upper left, coming from behind) Theoden is there too
Snowmane is the bane of Theoden, the only thing amiss is that Snowmane still appears alive.
nah… still not merry to me… looks more like a broken branch
I have to give him props for that wonderful background, though.
background is amazing
is that the horse and theoden on the right htere. yes the background rocks and eowyn looks so sad
Ok, I feel the need to explain this. First, the Fell Bast looks dead because it is. Snowmane IS still alive,
in the book it said something like “in his agony h had rolled away from the king”. I love the picture!
the colors are beautiful
Left hand side, just about the middle, big area of light colored grass. I do believe that rock is Merry…
and Elen I suggest you re-read that part of ROTK again…Eowyn cut off the head of the fell beast.
I see where Merry is now thanks to Allie Gamgee.
great pic,i see everyone now…there just one problem…eowyn, the nazgul theodon merry seem to be the only
people around…
the fell beast is indeed dead, as it is supposed to be. merry is indeed there, upper left hand corner….
…theoden is beneath snowmane, and for all we know, snowmane may have yet been alive. the book doesn’t say…
…otherwise. it also says that the battle had moved away from them. there you have it. this is a lovely and..
…accurate picture. i like it.
i dunno im not sure that that is Merry…it could quite easily be a rock…or bush…or branch…
theoden is left under the horse
nice use of color
I know the battle drifted away from them but it looks like everyone went into the White City for a tea break.
*Agrees with Lieutenant* However, lovely picture.
It’s pretty damn empty for a battlefield
*stares at Minas Tirith* v nice city…
poor eowyn. Lindë Kementari, no swearing, remember?!
