yikes i wouldnt want to go here brave gandalf
Wonderful painting.My compliments.
sorry im so dimwitted, but who IS the necromancer anyway? is it sauron?
yes wenuk its sauron. he was the necromancer when he was in hiding re gathering his strength
Wow. How’d ya like to have THAT in your backyard? Poor Leggy/Thranduil.
Wow…dark…gloomy…
wow i didn’t amagine it so biG!
I agree with OrliAngel316. Very dark. Very gloomy. Very good place for a necromancer…
That looks so cool! It reminds me of the Emyn Muil where Frodo and Sam were in TTT!!! Toatlly kool!!!!!!!!!!!!
WONDERFUL!!!
spooky, i like it like that.
OH, YEAH!!
i thought Dol Guldor was a tower?? Like a mini-Barad-Dur
well maybe it has since been destroyed when sauron deserted it? i thought it was spelt wit a “u”, not a “o”?
I have no idea everybody has different answers.
I always pictured it as a forterss built into a mountain but this looks loike it without the fortress.
I wouldn’t like to be alone there.
col, but a litte creepy. heh must be the fog.
Scary! This is pretty close to how I pictured it!
very realistic….. amazing artist this alexander is………
It’s amazing. It almost feels like you are there.
i’m not gonna climb there..no..
I imagined it as a tower like Orthanc, but shorter and fatter, surrounded by black earth in a forest clearing.
But this is cool, too. (imitation French accent) Ah, yes! Very bad-guy motif. So nice…but we’ll do it over.
Hmmm, it said in the Hobbit that Thorin’s father died in the dungeons here…poor dwarf!
Where are the trees? That foul Sauron hath hewn them down!
That fog gives the painting the sense of forbidden.
There is a place in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee with a stikingly similar appearance, but there are
trees in the Smokies, while the Necromancer has cut them all down in Dol Guldor.
excellent
