A BEARD??? I’m appalled.
I’m appalled by the Dracula-like collar!!
Yuck! I am appalled by the whole lot!

i like it…but then again i have a sentimental attatchemt to these cartoons from my youth
except the Bakshi one. I was so disturbed by that one a a little kid that i could only ever get through the
first 30 min.

Hey, Statusquo, I agree with you! I grew up with the Hobbit, RotK, the Last Unicorn, Flight of Dragons.
These movies mean a lot to me. I know they may not be everyone’s images, but Rankin Bass got a lot right
To me this image does not look THAt different from the Hugo Weaving image.

I know…he’s got a constellation orbiting his forehead. :3 I slightly doubt that Elrond had passed his third
cycle of life. He was born in the end of the First Age, and I think that only the guys from Cuivienen should
be old enough to have beards; people like Cirdan, who was supposedly the oldest Elf in ME…I’ll take the
Eyebrows of Doom and even those annoying Agent Smith jokes over this…creature…
This is WORST than Bakshi’s Elrond!!!!
