i dont remember gimli ever described as wearing a hood…
well, all the other Dwarves wear hoods… *maybe Figwit’s mind is still taking a break?*
i dont know.. the only hood i recall mentioned in FotR was sams hat that looked like a dwarf hood. i thought
gimli kinda turned up in armour and didnt ever change out of it…
He sort of looks like one of the ghosts on the dead marshes. actually, he could pass off as one.

The proportions again kind of disturb me, but other than that, beautiful colors!
The background needs to be a bit faded. It distarcts the looker fromt he main subject. Gimli is Fantabulous!

On the subject of Gimli’s hood, I remember reading in FotR that when the Fellowship discovered Balin’s tomb in
Moria, that Gimli “cast his hood over his face.” Hmmm?
O yes. at balin’s tomb. And i guess it would be a bit of commonsense to have a hood of some sort. Nice pic tho

Howe did Gimli is just as I imagined him. It seems they took much of this look for the movie.
