Wow! This is soooo awesome!
WOW! How many sons did this Feanor have?? These are so totally awesome! Outstanding! I love this artist!!!!!!!
Oh that’s absolutely beautiful! I love the way you kept all the colors except their hair muted and understated
Amazing! I love this.
he had seven sons, yes very good picture i like it alot : )
I wonder did he have any daughters? If not his poor wife, no wonder they were sundered, eight strong-willed men
they look cute! I like the idea that all the picture is drawn in black and grey and white, only their hair is
red.
One of the three sets of twins in Lord of the Rings. *hugs Rod and Ras*
i love how you can see the twinness of them, even though one is a face shot and one a three-quarter.
man i wish i could draw like that!
-W O W – !!
Wow! This is a beautiful picture!
I thought they were girls at first glance. Great drawing though!
Very cool!
wow they look great!
excellent!
It’s been said before but it’s true, they’re great
i thought they had black hair, not red . . . . but still an awesome picture!!
thats beautiful
The twins shared the same mother-name, Ambarussa (‘top-russet’), which refers to the hair colour…
That is pretty good Firiel! Very Elven prince-like and no horrible pointed ears!
It could be better if this pic has more colors!Great!Twins!Wait…How many twins in Tolkien’s magical world?
Let me C:Amrod&Amras/Angrod&Aegnor(??Maybe)/Elrond&Elros/Elladan&Elrohir…All of them are Noldor!Interesting!
I have no words!
very good drawing! you´re a artist, a very good artist indeed
A bit womanly, but very nice detail!
amazing!
Is it me, or do they have round ears?
about the “how many twins” thing, i think there was a pair of twins that were Men that died at the pelennor
fields battle in RotK
the colour and the shades are absolutely terriffic!
they look so serious too – the weight of the oath. i’m sure theres a quote about doom settling etc.
Really beautiful, and they have the red hair that they got from Mom! But why are their ears round?
Although the evidence is considerable for pointed ears, there’s nothing conclusive. On her site, Anke says …
… that she tries ‘to avoid clichés often occuring in fantasy-art nowadays, such as pointed ears for Elves’.
Whoops, scratch my second comment. The first still applies though — no conclusive evidence for pointed ears.
Oh, does that mean there might be round eared Elves passing for Humans in CoE?
there’s too many twins in this world….
Who ever said elves had pointed ears? Not Tolkien
Sigh and I thought to few twins… espescially since Elves don’t give birth as often as Humans do.
*stares in awe* what can i say? *looks at computer screen again* speechless.
…GLORIOUS! Astonishing! Magnificiant!
This is gorgeous!
I’m just blown away by this lady’s work – amazing!
I can’t believe I haven’t commented on this yet! it’s breathtaking!
Pretty sweet!!!
coolio!!!!
the one in front kinda looks like a girl
Wonderful!
Didn’t one of them die at the Kinslaying of Alqualonde? Because if so, i will have to go off and cry…they
are both far too pretty to die.
I LOVE THIS!!!!! …they’re both GORGEOUS!!…
Do I see a future Alan Lee or John Howe? Amazing. Their eyes are brilliant.
I personally thought of elves with pointed ears, but thats just me: I love pointy ears. But if not all elves
have pointed ears, does that mean we could all be elves!?! I jokingly try to convince my friends that I am an
elf, and this is totally going to help my case. They too think of elves with pointed ears.
As I recall, he does in fact say they have pointed ears… I just can’t remember where
Awesomeness!!! I love their hair!!! It’s perfect – just the right shade!!
