His outfit and the bow are pretty cool though…
I actually kind of like it…it’s not drawn like the other Legolas pictures.
I really like this one actually. Although, he looks a bit like Vanyel from the Last Herald Mage books..

Its says in The Hobbit that Thranduil had golden hair, so I always pictured Legolas as blonde

the book never specifically states whether Legolas had light or dark hair… why should that matter?

Okay first of all, on the hair and eyes… Thranduil may have had blonde hair, but it depends on what color
hair Legolas’ mother had as to whether or not he had blonde hair. And it’s a matter of genes and science. Even
if his mother had had blond hair as well, dark hair is the dominant gene, so he could end up with dark hair if
his grandparents had dark hair. Now on eyes, Elves, as I have discovered, have magick called glamour so they
can change their appearance i.e. also the color of their eyes (and hair for that matter). And now onto my last
comments. *ArwenEvenstar* he does not look evil. It’s called concentration upon the point where he is going to
shoot. He’s just aiming. This picture is really cool and closer to how I imagined Legolas.

ACtually, as stated before, he IS holding the bow and arrow correctly. But the eyes are creepin’ me out.
But I do think the outfit works for a woodland elf…when hunting they would need to blend in.

I’ve seen it. So I was a bit surprised by blond Orlando when the movie came out…
